1st general assembly of the UMG, (Marrakech-Maroc, 2011)
During the constituent general assembly of the UMG which took place in June, 2010 in marseille, it was decided to hold the first general ordinary assembly of the UMG in Marrakech in May 18th 2011, at the Mogador hotel on the sideline of the international congress of the international federation of surveyors (FIG) organized by : the national order of topographical engineer geometricians of morocco (onigt)
Many congressmen from many countries around the Mediterranean bassin, took part at this assembly.
This assembly had a special guest: Mr. Tėo cheeHai, the president of the FIG, and who reiterated the unconditional commitment of the FIG to support UMG actions for more cooperation and partnership at the regional level. The main goal being to take the profession to a higher level and to urge the public authority to give more importance to this profession which plays an important role in the economic and social development of every country
It's has been decided during this general assembly, to amend status, to embrace the list of the UMG founding countries, to elect a new executive bureau of the UMG as well as the approval of the action plan for the 2011-2015 mandate.
